Minority Chamber of Commerce Announces Mr. Kenneth Graham, Director of the National Hurricane Center of the U.S Government as a Keynote Speaker at the Emergency & Preparedness Summit in Miami
The Emergency Preparedness Conferences Share Best Practices and it is the ideal forum to build and strengthen working relationships between state and federal agencies and private sector.
Miami, Florida. June 11, 2018. The Minority Chamber Of Commerce is pleased to announce that Mr. Kenneth Graham, Director of the National Hurricane Center (NOAA), will serve as the Keynote Speaker at the Emergency & Preparedness Inevitable “Big One” Conference , held at the World Trade Center of MCC located at 1951 NW 7 Avenue, Miami, Florida 33136. The event is not open to the public.
The high-level conference scheduled for this Monday next June 18 from 12 noon to 3 pm and will be covering many exciting issues relevant to community and business emergency preparedness. Nearly 50 attendees from membership based and more gathered to hear from this year’s government and private sector coalition conference presenters.
“This conference will provide resources and opportunities all of the essential stakeholder groups to get together annually to discuss and share best practices about issues relevant to our coalition preparedness and response” said Doug Mayorga, CEO MCC. “ Be Ready is a priority message and a last call to be prepare for the inevitable Big One”.
About Kenneth Graham: Kenneth Graham serves as the Director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Hurricane Center. He was previously the meteorologist-in-charge of the National Weather Service’s New Orleans/Baton Rouge office since 2008 and has vast experience working with emergency managers prior to and during a wide variety of weather threats and spent time deployed with officials at emergency operations centers… Read more.
