A Community Service Initiative — Sharing Opportunities, Inspiring Hope, and Supporting Those Who Serve Others

Walmart Spark Good Local Grants — community funding opportunity shared by the U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce

MIAMI, FLORIDA — October 13, 2026 — The U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce is encouraging eligible nonprofit organizations, schools, faith-based institutions, and community-serving organizations to explore the Walmart Spark Good Local Grants program, which offers grants ranging from $250 to $5,000 to qualifying applicants.

The Chamber is sharing this information as a genuine act of community service. Walmart is not being presented as a member or sponsor of the Chamber, and the Chamber is not seeking payment, membership fees, or any commercial benefit from Walmart in connection with this initiative.

“Our purpose is simple: to help organizations discover opportunities that may strengthen their ability to serve people. We know that many community institutions work tirelessly to support families, children, seniors, and vulnerable populations, yet lack the financial resources they need. When we learn about a legitimate funding opportunity, we believe it is our responsibility to share that information and help organizations understand how to apply,” said the Chamber’s leadership.

The Chamber is sharing this opportunity independently and encourages interested organizations to review Walmart’s official eligibility requirements and application procedures. Grant awards are determined by Walmart; the Chamber does not administer the program, guarantee funding, or influence award decisions.

An opportunity to make a difference

Eligible organizations may review the official program information and application portal:

Organizations should verify their eligibility, required documentation, application deadlines, and current program conditions directly with Walmart.

Service before self-interest

For the U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce, this initiative reflects a fundamental principle: helping communities should not always come with a commercial expectation. Sometimes, the most meaningful contribution is simply connecting an organization with information that could help it continue its mission.

The Chamber welcomes the opportunity to share legitimate resources that empower nonprofits and community institutions, especially those with limited access to funding.
