U.S. MINORITY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNOUNCES BUSINESS HUB PERU

First U.S.-Private-Sector Business and Economic Assistance Center to Open in Lima on November 10

WASHINGTON, D.C. — October 26, 2026 — The U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce, together with its private-sector partners in Lima, Peru, today announced the establishment of Business HUB Peru, a new international business center scheduled to officially open on November 10, 2026.

Business HUB Peru will serve as a U.S.-private-sector platform supported by Peruvian business leaders, designed to facilitate bilateral business relationships, investment projects, international trade, donor cooperation, commercial missions, and strategic partnerships between American and Peruvian companies and institutions.

“The mission of this 100% American business initiative, supported by respected Peruvian private-sector leaders, is to facilitate bilateral business through investment projects, two-way trade, international donor cooperation, and commercial missions from multiple U.S. chambers of commerce whose members are interested in establishing relationships with Peruvian counterparts in a secure, informed, and effective manner,” said Doug Mayorga, President and CEO of the U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce.

A NEW BUSINESS GATEWAY BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND PERU

Business HUB Peru is being developed as a practical business gateway for American companies, investors, entrepreneurs, chambers of commerce, and minority-owned businesses interested in exploring the Peruvian market.

The center will provide business intelligence and commercial information designed to help companies identify:

  1. Who to buy from;
  2. Who to sell to;
  3. Potential strategic partners;
  4. Qualified Peruvian companies and business counterparts;
  5. Investment and development opportunities;
  6. Trade and procurement opportunities;
  7. Commercial missions and business matchmaking; and
  8. Potential opportunities for long-term bilateral partnerships.

The initiative will emphasize working with business counterparts that are properly registered, verified, qualified, and appropriately evaluated for potential commercial relationships with Chamber members and associates.

According to the Chamber, the objective is to reduce uncertainty for companies entering a new market and provide a more organized pathway for American businesses seeking reliable commercial relationships in Peru.

INVESTMENT, TRADE AND DEVELOPMENT

The U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce said Business HUB Peru will also support the development of opportunities involving environmental projects, energy, housing, infrastructure, technology, commerce, and other strategic sectors.

The Chamber intends to use the HUB as a platform through which additional American chambers of commerce and private-sector organizations can organize business missions to Peru and establish direct relationships with Peruvian companies and institutions.

“We want American companies to have a place where they can begin their relationship with Peru with greater confidence, better information, and qualified contacts. At the same time, we want Peruvian companies to have greater access to American markets, capital, technology, and business partnerships,” Mayorga stated.

STRENGTHENING AMERICAN ECONOMIC ENGAGEMENT IN PERU

Business HUB Peru forms part of the Chamber’s broader international strategy to globalize opportunities and establish solid economic corridors connecting American businesses with markets throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Chamber believes that stronger American private-sector engagement in Peru can contribute to economic diversification, competitive investment, job creation, innovation, and greater strategic resilience, while offering Peru additional opportunities to strengthen its commercial relationships with the United States and other international partners.

The initiative also reflects the Chamber’s interest in helping create a stronger and more diversified U.S. economic presence in Peru, contributing to a competitive environment in which American companies can participate more actively in the country’s economic development.

THE BUSINESS HUB PERU MISSION

The new center will operate with a simple objective:

CONNECT. QUALIFY. INVEST. TRADE. BUILD.

Business HUB Peru seeks to become a long-term platform for American and Peruvian businesses interested in building sustainable commercial relationships based on transparency, due diligence, mutual opportunity, and shared economic interests.

The official opening is scheduled for November 10, 2026, in Lima, Peru.
