PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION
U.S. MINORITY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNOUNCES MAJOR NATIONAL CAMPAIGN IMPACTING THE U.S. BUSINESS COMMUNITY, LED BY ELITE PARTNER AMERICAN EDGE PROJECT (AEP).
Washington, DC – October 12, 2026.

The United States Minority Chamber of Commerce (USMCC) announces a major national campaign with significant impact on the American business and innovation ecosystem, led by its elite strategic partner, the American Edge Project (AEP). The initiative focuses on strengthening U.S. leadership in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advancing data-driven policymaking to support innovation, competitiveness, and economic growth.
The American Edge Project (AEP) officially released its first annual 50-State AI Scorecard, an interactive online tool that enables legislators, media, business leaders, and policy advocates to instantly see how AI is benefiting their state and to compare performance across 10 key indicators, including:
- AI investment
- Tech job growth
- Data center development
- Innovation infrastructure and competitiveness
The 50-State AI Scorecard provides policymakers with the data and insights needed to focus on accelerating innovation, rather than slowing progress through a patchwork of state-level regulations. As global competition intensifies—particularly in the AI race with China—AEP emphasizes the importance of a coordinated national strategy that allows American innovation to thrive.
The U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce strongly supports this initiative, highlighting that AI-driven innovation creates jobs, attracts investment, and strengthens U.S. economic leadership across all states. The 50-State AI Scorecard is now available to the public at: 👉 https://americanedgeproject.org/new-50-state-ai-scorecard/. AEP and the Chamber encourage business leaders, media outlets, and stakeholders nationwide to help amplify this message and promote policies that ensure America remains the global leader in emerging technologies.
