Donors Convention Washington, D.C. 2026

The U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce announces that its upcoming Donors Convention will take place in Washington, D.C., November 16–17, 2026, bringing together leading philanthropic organizations, nonprofit leaders, business development organizations, and representatives of U.S. government agencies to explore new resources and programs available to communities and nonprofit organizations.

The Chamber is advancing this initiative with the goal of helping American nonprofit organizations identify opportunities for funding, partnerships, technical assistance, and programs designed to strengthen communities and support economic development.

Particular attention will be given to federal funding opportunities and programs supporting nonprofit organizations involved in small-business development and community economic initiatives, including resources that may remain available or have not yet been fully distributed.

“This event has required a tremendous effort, and it must fulfill its mission. Our objective is to create a serious platform where nonprofit organizations can connect directly with philanthropic institutions, government representatives, and other resource partners,” said Doug Mayorga, CEO of the Chamber.

Mayorga added that the Chamber is working to invite not only major philanthropic organizations, but also representatives from several U.S. government agencies.

“Among the activities we are developing is the possibility of a One-on-One session with a senior official involved in the distribution of federal resources within the U.S. Department of the Treasury, together with other important opportunities throughout the program. We want this to be a productive event for national and international nonprofit organizations,” Mayorga stated.

The Donors Convention Washington, D.C. 2026 will feature two full days of activities, including:

• 12 specialized forums
• Meetings and networking opportunities with philanthropic organizations
• Government and institutional presentations
• Business and partnership roundtables
• One-on-One networking opportunities
• Receptions and institutional networking

The Chamber believes that strengthening nonprofit organizations is essential to the development of communities and to the sustainability of programs focused on human development, entrepreneurship, economic development, and small-business financing.

The Chamber emphasizes that participation does not constitute a guarantee of government or philanthropic funding. Rather, the Convention is intended to provide access to information, institutional connections, networking opportunities, and pathways to potential resources and partnerships.
