FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Event Will Feature Largest Coalition of Employers and Educational Institutions, Including U.S. Government Agencies, Multilateral Organizations and Supplier Diversity Companies

WASHINGTON DC – October 16, 2025 – The U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce (USMCC) will launch its biannual “10,000 Jobs” initiative at the XXV National Minority Career Fair in Washington DC on November 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This exclusive employment and career fair will be held at the Ronald Reagan Building in the nation’s capital.

This highly anticipated professional event will feature representation from global, national, and local partner organizations that provide employment opportunities for minority groups and foreign workers, creating pathways to employment in the United States. This is accomplished through ongoing hiring fairs, foreign workforce programs, entrepreneurial training camps, and various other training and employment initiatives for minority communities. The official list of participating employers will be announced on November 20, 2025.

To attend the XXV National Minority Career Fair in Washington DC, job seekers must pre-register by submitting an application via email to [email protected]. Candidates can complete their registration by accessing the USMCC electronic ticket portal. The event is free.

“Our mission is to provide opportunities for American professionals, veterans, and skilled workers to explore career options while assisting them in the search for outstanding positions in all three sectors: government, corporate business, and nonprofit organizations,” says USMCC Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Doug Mayorga. “For the first time in its history, the initiative will assist American companies in multiple sectors—including the potential contract that the Chamber will obtain with the FIFA/USA Organizing Committee, in the supply of employees for the World Cup during June and July 2026 in all areas of the global event.”

Foreign Talent Symposium

During the event, there will be a symposium on the U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce Foreign Talent Program, which will focus on the advantages, duties, and benefits of attracting foreign talent within the Chamber’s security framework. The symposium will feature invited officials from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, specifically from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor to address issues related to foreign workforce recruitment and regulatory compliance.

About the 10,000 Jobs Initiative

Coalition members participating will help launch careers and serve as sponsors of entrepreneurship camps for minority professionals, veterans, students, skilled workers, and multilingual foreign workers entering the workforce—offering internships, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training. Additionally, the program aims to develop entrepreneurial potential among job fair candidates seeking to create new businesses through specialized business courses. The program’s goal for the year is 10,000 jobs.
