Uniting Global Afro Leadership in Bogotá: A Historic Summit for Economic Empowerment and Solidarity
Cumbre Mundial Afro – Bogotá 2025 to Bring Together 300+ Leaders from Across the Americas
From August 1 to 3, 2025, Bogotá, Colombia will host a groundbreaking gathering of over 300 Afro-descendant leaders, visionaries, and changemakers at the Global Afro Leadership Summit, organized by the United States Minority Chamber of Commerce.
Held at the exclusive Bogotá Plaza Hotel, this three-day summit aims to foster unprecedented collaboration across the global African diaspora. Business leaders, policymakers, community organizers, and entrepreneurs will unite to share strategies, forge partnerships, and launch initiatives designed to drive economic growth and visibility for Afro-descendant communities.
A Platform for Power and Progress
This year’s summit will feature specialized forums on business development, investment opportunities, government engagement, and cultural innovation. Delegates will participate in leadership workshops, policy roundtables, and exhibitions showcasing products and services from Afro-owned businesses across the Americas.
The closing gala will honor some of the most influential figures working to uplift the Black diaspora in government, business, media, and education.
Why It Matters
“The Global Afro Leadership Summit is more than an event—it’s a platform for transformation,” said Doug Mayorga, President of the U.S. Minority Chamber. “For too long, Afro-descendant communities have been excluded from the centers of global influence. This summit aims to change that by building a global alliance for prosperity, dignity, and unity.”
