Venezuelan Israeli journalist, philanthropist, and community leader to participate in a one-on-one forum with Doug Mayorga on October 23.

MIAMI, FLORIDA — October 16, 2026 — The U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce proudly announces that Erika Raven, a distinguished Venezuelan-Israeli journalist, philanthropist, and advocate for women’s empowerment, will be a featured speaker at the 2026 Miami Women’s Leadership Summit on Friday, October 23, at the Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel.
Raven will participate in a highly anticipated forum addressing domestic violence, women’s safety, and the complex questions surrounding abuse within families and communities. Her appearance is part of the Summit’s seven high-demand forums, designed to encourage meaningful dialogue, promote awareness, and explore solutions to pressing social challenges.
“Having an outstanding woman, journalist, counselor, and community leader in South Florida join us is both a privilege and an honor. Erika Raven’s participation brings an important perspective to one of the most urgent issues affecting families today: domestic violence. While the abuse of women deserves our unwavering attention, we must also ask an important question: What happens when a man is the victim of abuse? This forum will address challenging questions and encourage an honest, balanced, and constructive conversation about the realities of domestic violence today,” said Doug Mayorga, CEO of the U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce.
A One-on-One Conversation on a Critical Social Issue
Raven’s presentation will take place at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026, in the Presidents Room at the Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel. The 45-minute session will follow a one-on-one interview format featuring Doug Mayorga.
The discussion will explore domestic violence, the importance of empowering women, the protection of families, and the need to recognize and address abuse wherever it occurs. The forum aims to foster awareness, encourage responsible dialogue, and reinforce the importance of safe and supportive communities.
Through her professional career, philanthropic commitment, and community engagement, Erika Raven represents the valuable contribution women leaders make to public awareness, social development, and the advancement of women in professional and entrepreneurial life.
